The Snugabunny: For Both Entertainment & Sleeping
What’s great about this baby swing is that it’s very versatile. It has a total of six diffent swing speeds, from very gentle rock to help your baby drift off to sleep, up to a more energetic, but still gentle, rock that will be very entertaining.
The My Little Snugabunny Cradle ‘n Swing also has two different swinging motions and three cradle positions. Basically, you can choose to either make it swing back or forth, or toe-to-toe as well as being able to adjust the cradle to whichever position your baby likes best. It really is a versatile swing, because no matter whether you want your baby to be gently rocked to sleep or have some fun entertainment when they’re wide awake, it’s almost perfect for it.
Built-in Music & Sound Effects
A neat thing about the Snugabunny is that it has a total of 16 different built-in songs as well as 2 nature sound effects to entertain your baby. If you ever get a baby swing that has built in music, you’ll want it to have a lot of different music—trust me! Hearing the same one or two songs over and over is enough to drive a mother crazy, but with this many songs it’s really not much of an issue, thankfully.
Mobile with Globe Mirror is Entertaining, Too
The Fisher-Price My Little Snugabunny Cradle ‘n Swing has a built-in mobile with a reflective mirror. The mobile also has a bird that “flies” around, giving your child something to entertain themselves with as well as helping them develop their visual tracking skills as well as eye movement. The mirror is built directly into the center of the mobile, and this will not only entertain your baby but help them develop a sense of self-awareness, too!
Is the My Little Snugabunny Cradle ‘n Swing Comfortable?
The comfort of any baby swing is obviously very important. Luckily, Fisher-Price has put a lot of effort into making this a very comfortable baby swing! First of all, the previously-mentioned adjustable speed and cradle mean that you can put it in a position that is most comfortable for your baby. You’ll probably be able to tell quickly which one your baby likes best!
On top of that, it’s made with excellent plush, snug fabric on the seat itself. Fisher-Price has designed it with fabric that is specifically made to be comfortable on a baby’s sensitive skin. Some other swings are made of material that is almost plastic-like, which isn’t exactly the most comfortable—not so with this one, though. This is probably one of the most comfortable baby swings we’ve come across!
Runs on Either Batteries or Plug-in Power
Since this is a motorized baby swing, it requires electricity to run. Your two options are either using 4 D-cell batteries (not included) or the included AC wall adapter. When using the swing in the swing mode you’ll get about 3 hours of use out of 4 D-cell batteries, which isn’t exactly the most efficient. I’d strongly recommend using the AC adapter as much as possible, as it’s far less expensive.
Of course, if you take the swing with you on a trip somewhere then you might not always have the option of using it with the plug-in adapter. If you find yourself in a situation like this, it will run perfectly fine on the batteries if you have to.
The Snugabunny Is Safe
One of the most important qualities I recommend looking for in our buyer’s guide is a wide base for stabilization. Fisher-Price has made this a priority in the Snugabunny, and it has a very wide base with a total of 4 rubber grips that will keep it in place and make sure it doesn’t accidentally get knocked over. As long as you place it on a level surface (and you always should with a baby swing) you should have absolutely no worries about it tipping over.
The seat of the Snugabunny is designed with easy, sturdy grips for safety and stability, and the seat itself is strongly supported by the steel frame of the swing itself.
Finally, the swing has a 5-point harness, similar to what you’ll find in an infant car seat. It makes sure your baby won’t fall out of the swing while they’re using it, and provides a snug and comfortable fit that shouldn’t bother them at all.
A Few Cons, However
There are a few complaints I’ve seen from users of the Fisher-Price My Little Snugabunny Cradle ‘n Swing. They aren’t deal-breakers, but you should be aware of them.
- First of all, as I mentioned above, the battery life when running in battery mode leaves something to be desired; it will only last you about 3 hours, so you’re much better off using it with the wall adapter.
- Some parents complained that the motor was rather loud. This is to be expected with most motorized baby swings. It’s probably not loud enough to bother most babies, but I suppose it could be an issue for some.
- Some people complained that they felt the Snugabunny swings too quickly, even on the lowest setting. Again, this isn’t always an issue, but it might be for you.
The Conclusion: Is the Fisher-Price My Little Snugabunny Cradle ‘n Swing Worth a Purchase?
All in all, this is an excellent baby swing. It’s very versatile with many settings and options for whether you want to entertain your baby or get them to sleep, is very comfortable, and also has neat things like built-in music and sound effects and the mobile with mirror.
If you’re looking for a great baby swing, I really don’t think you can go wrong with the Fisher-Price My Little Snugabunny Cradle ‘n Swing. It’s a pretty good deal, and since it has a rather high weight limit, it should last you for the entire time you might want your child in a baby swing.
Verdict: Highly recommended!

This swing is a blessing for our daughter; it puts a smile on her face every time! Sometimes we wont even turn it on, she just enjoys sitting in it and watching the mobile, which often leads to a nap. We get good use out of this and it is highly recommended.
We love this swing! It has been a blessing to us since we brought her home from the hospital. My only complaint is that while it says it fits up to 25lbs the safety straps don’t fit my 14lb 4 month old and hasn’t for some time! I still use the swing but make sure she’s supervised the entire time because of it but that takes away the convenience of letting baby play or nap in swing while mom catches up on chores.
